i thourgh they just eat rats

and yes i think they will not be good pets

i have 3 cats and thanku form tell me that a owl will try to eat cats.

Owls will eat anything that is smaller then they are and that they can pick up and carry off. My oldest cat was very thin because she was so old and not very large in size so that why I think the owl was checking her out. They won't try to grab a younger adult cat but they would probably go after a kitten if it was out at night and someplace where it's easy to get...like laying on top of a patio table on a deck.
