new york yankees, new yankee stadium

yankees won today coming from behind to beat tampa bay 4-3 and winning a series in which they lost the first game 15-5 no small feat in of itself. xavier nady went on the dl today with elbow problems may require surgery and could be out for the year. i have been a yankees fan since i was a kid but the last couple of years no matter how much talent they seem to have they don't get any consistency. it was nice to see them battle back today from behind and they had a nice last couple games but you just never know with this team they open the new yankee stadium tommorrow it sure looks nice. cc sabathia our new acquisition in the off season is scheduled to pitch against cliff lee last years cy young winner hope we can get the new stadium off with a win.

after watching that game the other night you bet. i watched them get pounded so bad i had to turn it off. it got so bad at one point they used one of the position players to pitch and sadly he did better then their regular pitchers. so to see them bounce back after that horrible loss and still win the series was very nice and now they open the new stadium tommorrow afternoon that will be nice also its supposed to be a nice ceremony.
