I feel Murder Mysteries, at times, give criminals ideas about how to behave.

Do you feel the same way? I am not saying they get their entire plot from these stories, but they do get inputs, as shown in many publicised cases.

I also think so. And we read them in newspapers too. Sometimes the criminals confess that they got the first idea from tv programmes and movies. But what to do...we can't ban such items from showing to the people.

Quite possibly. It takes a twisted mind to look for that as some sort of guidance or inspiration, but all the same, alot of people I speak to are much wiser in the process of investigation and science due to watching the popular tv police shows.

To a very small extent. I feel criminals these days are smart enough without any inputs from books.
