Do you listen to music while studying?  

I listen to music while doing just about anything. When I was younger my parents would make comments about the fact that I couldn't really be reading and comprehending if i was singing to the music, yet i could tell them exactly what I just read. I just think some people are wired that way. I can definitely multitask better than most. Reading a book and singing to the radio is only one of my tricks lol. Happy mylotting!

I'm one of those people who are distructed when theres music specially when I'm stydying. My attention captured by music and I can't concentrate on the reading per se.

No,i don't listen music while studing because i cannot consentrate but my sister listen music while student.I don't know how she consentrate .I just listen only when work online ptc sites or when iam bored or tired

I've always had to listen to music while studying.. However for some reason, it can't be quiet music... it has to be harder stuff.. it seems to make me focus more... ICP, Twiztid, Deine Lakaien, Korn, Lords of Acid.. LOL... I'm just backwards I guess.

ya i too agree with your friends , if i turn on music then my concentration will be totally destroyed .well i always study in a closed room so that i can only concentrate on study , and my room is very peaceful so there is no noise in there . besides i listen music when i do my work , it is good to listen music at that lonely time.Happy mylotting

I do listen to music during my exam and when I'm doing homework and project.The music keeps the ideas coming and relaxes me so i think more clearly.During exam nights I listen to music to steady my nerves and have a restful sleep which I will need for the day of the exam.

Well i will divide this topic in two halves. First, i listen to music when i am doing some work which does not involve a lot of concentration, like completing assignments or homeworks. I also like to listen to music when i am solving math problems. I think music does not disturb my math skills. Second, i never listen to music when i have to study or read something. I just can't do it. I tried a few time but never worked out.

I also hold a similar opinion about the topic.I also like to listen music while studying. I also feel that music can help me keep out of the noisy surroundings and help me concentrate on books i read, problems i solve. I can better concentrate on studies. So do i do while working or surfing net on computer. I am not easily distracted by any other thing by doing so. My friends also wonder when they come to my house and see me playing music and studying. They just ask how can you concentrate on studies, i just say it is very easy and relaxing.

I love my iPod for that reason. I enjoy my music because I use it as a pair or virtual earplugs from the barking dogs and whatnot. Unfortunately, my mom wants them off my head because they are so-called 'distractions.'

It's a varying thing. Sometimes I want to listen to music while I do my work [like right now], or sometimes I prefer them off when I'm doing something that requires a lot more thinking into it.

in my opinion,listening to music while studying is not fit for me,because it will let my attention trans on music rather to my studying.
