RESPECT not ACCEPTANCE.. I'm GAY  |

 I've been denying because I don't wanna be different, I want to be normal. But you can't keep something that you are, I am GAY that's who I am. It's hard to be like this but it's harder to be someone that I am not.It's hard because we are living in a world that majority believes that there's only two gender, a male and a female. And this is what I want to say, I not asking for acceptance but I'm just asking RESPECT, as we those respect heterosexual people, people of the church, womanizers, etc. I believe that RESPECT should be earned but I also believe that RESPECT is given to everyone.

I don't believe that a person's sexuality is up to anyone else to judge and I always try to treat everyone with respect unless they are acting in a disrespectful way. Over the years I have had friends who have "come out" and it's always been a difficult decision for them...but also a relief once it's done. We all are who we are and we can't be anyone else.

i respect people as long as they've proven they deserved to be respected. respect is not something you can demand from a person.it's something that you earned. and sometimes, actions that contradict a person's principles keep this person from respecting another person fully.
