are you close to your sister in laws?

You know what, one of my mom's greatest advise to me was to not get too close to the in-laws. It had worked for her and I guess it would work for all of us, too close for comfort would only lead to messy intrigues and hot heads. It's better to be civil, I guess. I have only one sister-in-law for now (the wife of my eldest brother) and I know the girlfriend of my younger brother as well. I always keep my distance. Well, I don't really try to persecute their lives by being snobbish or something like that, it's more of we talk as friends but not as best buds. It's better that way, and I'm hoping I could continue to do so.

I only have one sister in law and she is my best friend and like another sister to me. However we had that bond almost since the day we met. Please polite to the new one and make her feel welcome maybe she will warm up. She could be nervous.

I have one sister in law and distance apart which they have only time to visit here in times of some important gathering like Christmas day , as this day is being set to have a reunion every year. Some are birthdays or fiesta celebration. We have never had a misunderstanding and i feel that every time her whole family visited in our place we have a great time ever.
