bridal shower ... ideas on gifts and games

My bridal shower is actually next weekend. And I'm going to a friend of mine's this upcoming weekend. lol So I feel like I may be able to give you some advice. Now since you're going with the Italy theme, I'm not sure how much help I will be there, but let me tell you about an awesome game idea I found! I really like it anyways. lol You break everyone up into small groups and give each group a few rolls of toilet paper. Together then create a wedding dress. Once time is up, you have people vote on their favorite dress and then that group gets to re-create the dress on the bride. I think it sounds like a really fun game and we're actually playing it at my shower. Maybe you could somehow put a twist on it, with your theme?

As for the clothespin game - use rings!! You can buy those cheap silver rings in the wedding section at stores. They're usually used for favors, but that would be perfect for this game! I actually really like that idea and may use it.

A game i had for my sisters bridal shower was: you have a bowl of cotton balls a pair of oven mitts and a blindfold, a timer too.
Everyone takes a turn. At your turn you are blindfolded put on the oven mitts spun around then you kneel on the floor and have to put all the cotton balls back in the bowl. Whoever does it the fastest wins. A twist on it is using a big spoon or other utensil to scoop the items while blind folded.

Prizes we did were cool little sticky notepads, candles and holders, pretty decorations, the inspirational magnets and little rocks or plaques...my other sister had a blast at dollar rama for all sorts of prizes.

My sister is getting married soon, she has had five bridal showers and Thank GOD she has had ZERO bridal shower games, they are lame and no one really likes doing them anyway. Especially the bride. Skip the games, sit around chat, talk about the wedding and relax. Games are for kids parties, not adults.

Hi, my bridal shower was set up by one of my godmother and friends. I dont know what they do, but I was surprised, really surprised on the shower that they have given me. It was a simple one. The gifts, they gave me everything from underwear, bra's nighties and everything. But we have no games, just everyone giving their wished and advises to me...And here is the climax of the bridal shower they have given me, there is this man who dances in the room...at first he has a brief then after a few minutes he dances all the way..all my friends are shouting and thrilled...i guess they really enjoyed the shower.

I think your plan is great and complete as well. You don't require any suggestion at all. You already design good work out plan.
