When I say I went to "California Adventure", what do you think?

It's a Disney park. We went there Saturday and had a blast! OK, it isn't Disneyland but we had no problem keeping ourselves amused for an entire day and didn't nearly see everything in the park. So why are they having trouble getting people to go there? Most of the people I had mentioned it to hadn't even heard about it! http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/parks/landing?name=DisneysCaliforniaAdventureLandingPage&bhcp=1

Oh, I'm surprised to hear that so many people are unaware of California Adventure. I thought it's the newer park in Anaheim and has more exciting rides, people would prefer that park to the main park. I personally like them both. How about Downtown Disney? Is is even less popular than California Adventure?

For some reason, the main park is way more popular. I like them both also. And Downtown Disney is a food and shopping area, but it's pretty popular, especially on weekends.

Well I would have known what it was, only because I have a bunch of little kids and our TV used to be on Disney Channel all the time back when we had cable. Do you live nearby? Was it just a daytrip for you? We live in NY and want to eventually get to Disney for a vacation, but the cost of getting there and staying in a hotel... yikes!

It used to be a day trip but now it's a weekend. We moved from Southern California to Northern California 3 1/2 years ago.
