Had to go to emergency room Saturday  | |  Hi My friends - It has been a crazy weekend for me.
I had to go to the emergency room Saturday for really bad dizzy spells.
Turns out I have positional vertigo. Does anyone out there no about this or know of someone with it?I would appreciate any info.

my mom has that-without her medicine,she gets vertigo so bad she can't even stand.
with it,she's been just fine.

Not sure what Mengiere is and no I don't think they did, although I'm waiting for blood tests to come back. I had the vertigo bad also, There's no way I could stand.
If anything I'm holding on to something. it feels awful, and it's so scary.

| Bambaboo (7) | 8 months ago |  Last month I had to go to the doctor for dizziness and he diagnosed me with "horizontal nastagmus vertigo". He gave me a motion sickness pill that was supposed to help, but it didn't. Since that time I did alot of research on the internet and ran across an article that talked about how low-dose aspirin can cause this. I was taking low dose aspirin every day for about 3 months! I stopped taking it and the vertigo went away. I'm assuming that the pills that the Doctor gave me didn't work because I was still taking the aspirin...the cause of the vertigo in the 1st place! So you see it can be brought on by something as simple as an aspirin.
