Which day or date is the most important to you in the year?

or which day do you like the most in the year? I think I woud like the first day of the Chinese New Year because everybody will gather together, you can see somebody you haven't seen for a long time since it is a day that everybody in the family supposed to be at a same palce to celebrate Chinese New Year and we can get red pockt = money in a red envelope from the relatives.

that sounds sort of like our christmas. we get together & change gifts & i cook.

Mostly people will gather together on thanksgiving so it is really a good day! :-)

Hello mermaidivy,
Oh, I can't choose which date is the most important for me in a year! I just have too many dates to remember and wish that I always remember them! For me now, few important dates that I need to tick on the calendar are my husband's, son's and my birthday, our wedding anniversary and my mother's birthday. I come from a big family but we seldom be able to gather unless during festive seasons holidays.

As a Chinese,the spring festival is very important.But I rather say it is a important day for my family, not only for myself.In this holiday,all the family members can gather together to celebrate the coming of a new year.But for myself, the most important date will be some day in June.I can't tell which date it is because I still don't know it.In some day of June,my college life will go to an end.I will graduat from my university.I have to say goodbye to those classmates who have been together with me for 4 years.Is it more important than the traditional holiday----sprinig festival?Everytime I think about my graduation, I feel very sad.To be honest, I don't want to graduate.The life in the college is so good!I don't want to leave my friends too. But the fact is that,it will come in some day after all, even I don't know the date, even though I don't want it comes.Farewell to my university!T_T

Christmas Eve has always been really important to me & my family. Not really because we're religious (we're really not..hardly at all. lol) but because we like spending time with each other, playing games, eating home-cooked meals, and exchanging gifts. We've made it our tradition, and it's the one day of the year that we ALWAYS make sure to spend with one and other.
