obama is making crysler pay the goverment back

i seen on the news that obama is makeing crysler pay the goverment back the money they got they have a week to come up with the plain to pay them back ,and they are not getting any more money from the goverment they have to get grants or something because he said they need to pay it back now they had there chance to fix things and didnt.

Hello Psychotaz. I think it is about time they and all the car dealers pay back these things they are living above their means and taking all the free money they can get. I don't think that we should bail these people out if they aren't going to make things better for the consumer. Good for Obama I think he is doing the right thing.

I hadn't heard about this but I did read that Chrysler turned down the latest offer by the government because the execs didn't want to agree with pay limits. Chrysler claimed that that wasn't the reason but that they were in the process of securing private loans. I guess we'll see how this plays out. I'm still bummed about GM getting rid of the entire Pontiac line of cars...the GTO and the Firebird were two of my favorites back in the 60's & 70's!
