Do You Prefer E-Books or Hard-Copy Books?

I used to read hard-copy books before. It is very convenient and comfortable for me to read them anywhere like on the bed. Now I like to download the E-books from the internet for free. Since I don't have much personnel time, I like to read through the content very quickly. E-books are just a very good choice.

I prefer hardcopy books-I hate reading offline. I feel like I'm researching or studying or something plus I have to have a computer with me or else I can't read it. Books I can take anywhere. I would absolutely love a kindle one day if I get rich. I would love to be able to read any book I want anytime with a small portable gadget.

i agree with you! although there are rising popularity of e-book! i still prefer to buy the traditional hard copy books than e-books..plus we can mark what we left over in the hard book while the e-book you have to research back the page you wish which will took quite long time..it also not really good to stare seated to the screen just to read the e-book while by reading hard book you can seat in anyway you want;lay back or lay side!you also need very portable e-book reader if you want to really comfortable reading your book which you don't need to when you read hard book! hoho

Hardcopy books are the only way to go. If you want to just put it down and come back ok you can even if the power goes out. Have candles and lamps your good. If day time better yet. You have a great night. great discussion.

i prefer the traditional form of books for my favorite authors started out doing this. however, am looking forward to the day when big authors would do e-books. i just wonder how they'd resolve the hacking and illegal copying problem...

I prefer the actual hard-cover books. I can re-read them, make notes in the margins, underline things, and know that they won't get lost in a computer crash!

I prefer a hard copy book to read. I love to read and always have and I love to be able to hold a book in my hand and take it with me where ever I may go to read it. I spend so many hours a day on the computer that I like to have that bit of treat for myself. I can read a book anywhere when I hold it but on the computer I am stuck here just staring!

I prefer hard copy book. I had order an e-book on like and it was so annoying because it's not like I can take what I am reading in bed, to work with me or even at the park. It's nice to have a book in your hand that you can take any where with you.

well i prefer hard copy books too
i just find sitting at the pc screen staring on for 3-5 hours reading a book or a novel, just a bit too much for my eye muscles and my brain power too

I prefer hard copy books because I just don't really like reading off of a computer screen. I would prefer to read out of a book because I can sit down and enjoy it and my eyes don't hurt and all I have to do is turn a page instead of scrolling down and what not. There's just way too many distractions to read off of a computer.
