How are you tonight? I'm alright I guess. It's been stressful around the house but at least I'm alive.

My Step-dad passed away on JAN22nd.

He just went to take a nap and never woke up.


It's been a really stressful month and we're worn out and stretched thin.

It's going to cost $515 (it was almost 1000 but they lowered it) for his cremation and
we don't know yet how much it'll cost to get a permit to spread his ashes on Folsom Lake, his favorite fishing spot.

Bills are extremely tight now that we will only have PART of Les' retirement pension coming in, and
most likely NONE of his Social Security Income.

We' have to give mom and Les' truck back to the dealership
(will have to have family take mom and I to our appointments if we don't have a vehicle),
shut of the DISH Network ( no tears there), and maybe shut off the phone.

Please pray for our strength, health, and financial stability, and wish us luck.


Les' friends where he worked for 29 years said to give them info on where they can
donate money to help with expenses, so maybe that'll help a bit.
I've set up a pay-pal account for donations for this purpose,
but I feel bad asking anyone to donate.
