First I would ask the Vet if they had some kind of payment plan. If they didn't then I would see if I could bother the money from a relative. If that didn't work out then I would pray on it & hope for the best. I know my husband's answer would be that we would have to put the animal to sleep, but the thought of losing any of my babies breaks my heart. Like I said I hope that I will never find myself in such a situation.

| TheCatLady (1628) | 6 months ago |  My dog was really sick all last year. I came in for all the tests and treatments and payed what I could. I couldn't pay it all at once, put my vet takes payments. Just this week I made the last payment and finally I don't owe anything. My vet is casual about it. I alway pay what I can. If I need something and don't have cash, I just say to put it on my bill. He takes my card out of the file box and puts a sticky not with how much I owe. When I make a payment he deducts it and keeps the card out until it's all payed. I also tell people who owe me money for dog walking to put it on my vet bill whenever they are walking by the vet. Small towns are great like that.

The cat was even like a companion to her. It was like a friend to her. But the cat got sick and my friend did not have any money to pay the vet and he suggested she do bad things to pay him. The cat did not get better because my friend would not do bad things with the vet.
