If you die. Which part of your body would like to donate? |
|
I prefer to live forever. But I don't think it is possible. But one thing I know for sure is that once you die, you can donate part of your body to someone who needs it. As a result part of your physical body's life will be extended for a couple of years more. And the part I would like to give them primarily is my eyes, secondly all my internal organs if possible. How about you?

2. nielcdg (385) | 8 months ago | Hmm...because I'm a chain smoker I don't think I can donate anything to tell you frankly:)
But if I were healthy and not tainted with anything, I guess I would like to donate my heart, there are a lot of young people out there who are dying on waiting lists for hearts. One of these young people could have enjoyed the things that I didn't. One of them would have reached heights that I couldn't so I guess by giving them my heart they could fulfill their dreams and have a good life afterwards.
I'm not clingy to my skin, its just a shell:) I just hope that the one who receives my heart doesn't mind crying to chick flicks hehehe...I'm a sucker for those, even my girl comments that I cry too early in the movie.
Any ways I don't know anything more noble than to help someone else have a full and happy life.

3. LevysLuv (189) | 8 months ago | My family already knows and I have my drivers license already says to donate any and all organs. Once I'm gone I have no use for my organs. If they can save another life that would be wonderful!

4. gicolet (776) | 8 months ago | I would like to donate my kidneys, heart, and anything else inside me that can be used. I can not donate my eyes cause I have poor eye sight but I'm in good health so I am willing to donate all internal organs of mine if I die. I should remember that next time I renew my driver's license. Maybe I shouldn't donate my brain...i'm very forgetful. LOL

5. cannette1 (1409) | 8 months ago | they wouldn't take my eyes because i don't have good vision and i've smoked for many years, so that leaves out lungs. i don't drink a lot of alchol so my liver is probably good and i'm sure my kidneys are ok.

| 6. Geminibreeze (91) | 8 months ago | I would donate anything that would be of use. My eyes, my heart, my lungs, my liver, what ever they needed. If I'm in a veggie state I do not want to be a burden to anyone. If I could help continue and enhance someone's quailty of life, I would give everything. I think it's so selfish when people are essentially brain dead and their families keep them alive. Is that really living? Having tubes feeding you and providing fluids? Your not mentally there. Your body is, but you aren't. To me it's better to give the gift of life, then cling to one that is ending.
