|  hey, guys!
i went to the mountain side last week-end, more exactly was in Brasov, Romania. That city is awesome! it has a lot of history into it, and also is situated between mountains. Right near the city there is this..hill/mountain called Tampa, with it's peak at a 916m altitude, from which you can see all the city. It was quite a beautiful scene, so i took some pictures and combined them into a panorama.

| |  The funny thing about the myLot email notifications is that when we click to reply to a new discussion it goes directly to the response without showing us the pictures. But I know they are going to be beautiful. So I will hit the submit button first and then go directly to take a look at your panorama!

i try to write everything on my blog in romanian...altough sometimes it would sound better in english. And, anyway, what i write on my blog is usually the title of the picture...i'm not the "talkative" type.
about the professional or amateur part...well, what makes a photographer a professional or an amateur? i don't quite consider myself a professional photographer. I'm a doctor by profession, and photography is just my hobby (and a damn expensive one). I do try to make some money with photography, with wedding photography. But that doesn't work very well. The lack of more professional gear (i shoot with a nikon d70 and my lenses are: new -for me, bought it 2nd hand- nikkor 18-70 f/3.5-4.5, sigma 18-50 f/3.5-5.6, sigma 55-200 f/4-5.6 and nikkor 50mm 1.8 + some home made stuff so i can get closer to bugs) and the lack of people i know gets me about 2-3 weddings/year (i did start shooting with a dslr 1 year ago, though...) Oh, and the fact that i am a doctor doesn't mean i can afford more expensive gear. Hahahaha! HECK NO! My monthly wage is about 240 euros / 320 $... pfffff... enough lamentation!

I love photography too and have taken decent pictures. But i havnt uploaded any on the net :\ As you say photography is a very expensive hobby. I used Nikon FM10 in my college and it is just been a year since i bought myself a canon powershot (digital camera).
