I Lost My Husband Tonight

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how tragic it can be to lose the person you devoted your life to. Never let the grandkids forget their grandfather. It really will help mold them into great people. I know from experience. I too have lost a grandfather, my lover and a child. Hope you pull through with all of your wit and charm.

oh Classycat, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope that he didnt suffer. Life will never be the same and you're going to go through some major changes but you sound like a strong person who will be ok. Time heals and being married over 50 years, it will take you some time but you'll do fine. Anytime you want to yell, scream, cry, just know that your friends here on mylot will listen and support you any way they can. My sympathies for your loss my friend. My heart goes out to you

I am sorry to hear about the lost of your better half. I know how sad it is to have someone leaving us. I grew up with my great grandparents and I never knew how to start my life when my great grandmother passed away. Remember to be strong for your kids and for your grandchildren. They need you and they will hold on to you. I wish I could console you more than words can say. I wish that you can easily move on with your life, the next chapter. I do not know what more to say but just my sincerest condolences. I will pray for your husband and for your family to be strong and to be able to accept the sad reality of life. May he rest in peace.='(

I am very sorry to hear about this. Be strong and live with his memories. I am sure that what he would expect from you. Saying it by words is easy, doing it is hard but be strong always.

I'm sorry for your loss.

My mum died recently and its a horrible time.

Take one day at a time and do what you feel is right and not what other people see as right. With 50 years of marriage I'm sure you have a million happy memories that will help you get through the dark moments.

This is just one of those times (when the jolly bubbly me who loves to talk about wonderful, loving husbands and happy moments shared together) my lips automatically shut up, keep silent and my arms gather the one in distress and hug 'em tight...i wish i could do the same to you right now...

I do feel what you were feeling, cause I did too lost someone special to me 4 years ago and it really breaks me into pieces. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I always want to be alone and I don't want to live anymore. I guess that was the darkest part in my life and I never thought that I could see myself smiling again. But someone makes me realized that carrying all the burden by yourself is not good and he also told me that how would the person left me, be happy to go if I would going to be miserable, that makes me think for a while, I cried and cried until I fell asleep. In my dream I saw someone smiling at me it's him, I beg him not to go but well he told me that "don't be sad cause we will see each other when the right time comes". Then suddenly I woke up with tears in my eyes. You know what it's the most saddest day for me well going back to you, maybe you don't have to be brave now and be thankful that finally he's in the arms of our God in heaven and put in your mind that you'll see each other soon ok be happy! i wish you all the happiness!
