It's 3am and Husband is Snoring!! |
|
Here I go again with another sleepless night. My husband snores louder then a freight train. He could actually wake the dead if we lived by a cemetary, and yes before any ask he has gone to the doctor and did the sleeping lab test and he is ok, there is no underline health issue he just has that extra piece of skin that at times lays over and flaps while he sleeps and that is why he snores so loud. I am thankful that he is healthy and all, but I swear sometimes I want to cut that piece of skin out myself. Once his new insurance kicks in he will have the surgery to remove it, but until then I will go without sleep. He does not snore like this every night just about 1-2 nights a week. Turning him over or waking him up does not work, because the skin stays flapped over and he never stays awake for more then 5 seconds to tell me he is sorry and will go get on the couch but I always so NO, becaus ehe works hard for this family and he deserves the bed. So I just get up, and once I am awaken I cannot go back to sleep that is my sleeping disorder....lol
Anyway how about you, do you or your love one snore and keep the other one awake?

I had an ex who snored so loudly, that members of his household could never sleep. The first time he invited me to spend the night etc, i had to go to another part of the house, and even then I still heard him.

| 13. avrose (61) | 8 months ago | My boyfriend snores, he used to wake me up t night and it was frustrating cause poking or moving him would only help for about 5 seconds. He's gotten quieter though, still snores but doesn't keep me awake and almost never wakes me up. I snore too, but he says it doesn't bother him, he's only woken me up two or three times when I was too loud. lol (I think I'm louder than him now!)

15. jdyrj777 (2316) | 8 months ago | I feel for ya girl. I used to have guy friends that were like that. Is it possible to have separate bedrooms? Or do you go sleep on the couch after he wakes you? This one friend i had as long as i fell asleep first it was ok til i had to wake to go potty then i could not go back to sleep because of the snoring. When we spent the nite together i would be sleepy all the next day. I thought something was wrong with me till i realized it was because of his snoring. When we didnt spend the nite i would wake well rested.

17. gr8life (4402) | 8 months ago | Hello Ozarkgirl,
Both my husband and I don't snore while sleeping. Just a bit lucky maybe... But, one of my brothers in law really can snore very loud. Whenever we gather at my mother's house, we can hear him snores at night though he chooses to sleep in a room far from others. He can easily fall asleep and just in seconds, he will start to snore. I don't know how my sister copes with that...

19. tigeruncle (897) | 8 months ago | Hello thanks for this wonderful post my friend, but seems there is a bit of fun too, like your telling he snores louder than a freight train or awake a dead. Well my wife also snores loudly, what I did you know? I recorded the loud snoring and replayed it the next night just when we were about to sleep. Surprisingly it worked she stopped snoring totally. Happy mylotting and cheers. Subash
