can people live happily without cell phone?

Its great and relaxing when you don't have a cell phone untill u have some important calls lined up..

you are right. cell phones have become an object of necissity these days and life becomes very uneasy without them.

Cellphones indeed are very useful and they make life easier for us. I cannot be without my cellphones (I carry 3 ) because I am always expecting important calls. But during those times that I can actually leave them behind, I fell free and happy. I mean, I do not have to check them, I do not have to worry about missed calls

Actually, contrary to what others think (or assume) we can live life better without cellphones at all. I have tried it for several days when I had broken up with my boyfriend, I just let my cellphone be tucked in my bag or even left it at home, and I felt fine without it.

I guess cellphones are only a luxury to those who don't really have some pressing engagement that needs constant follow-ups and those who have messy schedules who particularly need cellphones to organize their lives.

But for most who are humble employees and are not really working outside the office or field, I guess life won't stop when you don't have your cellphone with you.

It's even great not to hear the sound of that beep when your relaxing. How many times I abhor the sound of that beep when I'm just lying lazily and the phone is a few meters away! Arrrggghh.. I hated the beep because it meant I had to stand up and pick that d@mned phone! hehehe..

Yeah, we can live happily without cellphones. But don't spread the word else telecommunication companies would surely be your enemy. hehehe..

Yes you are right cell phones have become an integral part of our life. It has become a necessity for all of us. Previously I use to store others numbers on a pocket diary but now I always store it in my mobile contact list. Frankly speaking I don't remember more than one or two phone numbers. If I forgot to take my mobile with me then I would not be able to call anybody on that day. Because I don't remember the numbers. The reason behind its popularity is definitely the ease of use. If you have a cell phone then you can contact any person at any time from anywhere. This this bring a revolution in communication.

I will agree that the cellphone had become a necessity item over the years, and it's so common that even parents give their young children (as young as 9, 10 years old) a cellphone too to keep track of their kids. I also bring my cellphone everywhere I go, for fear that there may be someone looking for me urgently (be it for work, or family issues).

I do feel relieved & more relaxed when I do not have to bring my cellphone, especially when I'm traveling overseas for leisure.

Yes and No answer. I can live happily without cellphone if I plan to travel alone... or chill out alone and no one should bugs me.hehe... but it comes a necessity if you need an emergency calls... the only hassle for a cellphone is if you don't have a load...or money to buy a load for that...

Don't you think it will add to your expenses when you have cellphones? like charging, load, etc.

Nowadays I think cell phone is a necessity for us. Without cellphone, we can't communicate with people and everything will be difficult. Some people even use cellphone to go online and surf the internet.

I think nobody or maybe 1% of the population thinks that cellphones are not important.Like what you said,its like a necessity in you.And I totally agree with the idea.Having a cellphone is very important,every minute we need it.It is very useful in our lives today,especially that technology right now is very needed.

Hi rocketsky,were not human being living happily before cell phones came into market and was available for all the people?I know it is important today so that you can contact with others easily and your family members or anyone else can catch anytime they want.So,without it,problems are bound to come but I think we can adjust as well.
