can people live happily without cell phone?

There's a time that I'm happy without it, no calls, no texts, no one will bother you, hehehe

but It's needed though. I can't be totally happy without it^_^

In my case, the cellphone is a necessity. as I don't have a landline. I just got tired of all the telemarkettes, calling at all hours of the day. I don't have that on my cellphone. Sure, I do get wrong numbers, but not any solication calls. So, I need my cellphone, and I do take it with me even when I walk my dogs, as I neer know if a family member needs me for anything. I think cellphones, for most people are a way of life, and to be without them, would be very difficult. Happy mylotting.

Sometimes I like the break from my cell phone, just like I used to enjoy the reprieve from the house phone years ago! It really has become a necessity it seems. There was a day I travelled everywhere and never considered that I did not have a phone with me, whereas today I wouldn't think of leaving home on a journey without one!

I wonder how we made it years ago without a phone in our pocket!!

Can we "live happily" without one.. sure.. we did.. and we could again if we had to!

As for me,if I forget to take the cellphone with me,I can't keep my mind on work.I always worry about missing any message.Mybe cellphone is too important to us.The world is full of informations that we need them .Cellphone can help me.

Years ago when cellphones were not yet invented, I believe our parents and grandparents lived pretty well even without it and I think they were content with their lives. But since times changed and everything is now in fast track, cellphone has evolved from luxury to necessity. We can still live ok without cellphones I guess but its a lot more convenient to have one. Its easier to make important call, you don't have to look for a phone booth or for coins to put in the phone. Communication and coordination is a lot more easier.

I cannot be happy without my phone because my life depends so much on it. lol! But there are people who are really not fond of using cellphones and would rather be old fashioned when it comes to technology. Some people would prefer to live a simple life without depending too much on the latest cellphones outthere. I even know some people who are still using an old phone because they don't think they need a newer phone because their old phones are serving them well. Some people are contented with their landline phone and internet.

Well Cell Phones are really very important part of our lives these days, we have habit of using it on a regular basis. There might not be even a single day when we are not using our cell phone.
But if it is not available to everyone in this word then it is fine because we can live as we were living in the past and if it is only me then I think it will tough call because I have land line phone and internet at my home.
But I will never get flexibility that I used to get using my cell phone.
But yes after few days I can manage it and stay happily without it.

My boyfriend always seems to run out of credit, and the other week he was getting a tattoo, I was going to wander around town for the hour he would be there, I let him keep my phone and I took his, so that he could call me when he was done. I haven't gone without credit for about a year as I am on a contract phone, I felt quite lost walking around town, all of a sudden I felt I had reasons to call or text people and make arrangements, and I was stuck looking for change for a payphone.
I feel a lot safer knowing I have a phone on me, and I sometimes imagine a worse case scenario, for example if I was abducted, I will use my phone to dial 999, if I didn't have battery or credit it would be putting my life at risk.
I keep my phone on me for emergencies, even at work I am meant to keep it in my pocket, but if a customer collapses or a crash in the car park, I am ready with my phone, and I have encountered emergencies there so I know I'm not just being overcautious.

Of course, billionaire Oprah Winfrey even claimed once that she doesn't have a cellphone because it intrudes into her privacy too much. So why not? Our parents did not have cellphones and I think they are a lot better than us in terms of being able to survive challenges. Cellphones are only good for busy businessmen who have many businesses to attend to and who is earning much.

Yeah.We previously have no cell phone.the advantage is you can carry it anywhere you are.
