can people live happily without cell phone?

It is not really that much of a necessity. We live in a fast paced life thats why there is a need for this. But earlier generations survived without a mobile phone. I am not really into texting. I'd rather call up a person if its important so dont count me on that.... LOL

Hi,Rocketsky. I also take my cell phone with me most of the time. But I think people can live happily if there is no cell phones around them. Just think about the ancient people.

i didnt have a cellphone a yr back fr six months it was gud without it fr a person like me who like his space and enjoys the rare lone time he gets i used to love life without a cellphone but evefr since i ve bought one smbdy calls smtime and then u have to go and stuff wen ur not willing to smtimes so it has its pros and cons .....works both ways ......

I think YES! Cell phones are invented just now a days and people used to live without cell phones before and they have a happy life.

It is just a need now a days because have been used to it already. It became a necessity and people have been using this for their communication.

Cellular phones has become a necessity more than an accessory these days. The world and the society now are getting more and more technical, fast paced, and convenient and cellular phones offers such benefits. Aside from those, mobile phones are so handy that it can be brought any where. Newer models of cellular phones also has a lot of built in and added features which makes it more attractive to consumers. Mobile phones these days are carried with digital cameras, radios, audio players, video players, internet browsers, and some can even function as a mini computer. Knowing how dependent people are on mobile phones these days, I think most people will be less happier without cellular phones. Almost everybody has it and are hooked into it, getting more and more dependent. But going back to the past, I think that if mobile phones were not introduced, people will still be as happy as they are now. Why? Because if mobile phones were not introduced, something else will be that should have taken over the place of cellular phones. Communications is very important and mobile phones and it's services are bridging the massive distance gap, on problem of communications before.

I agree with you. If people don't use the cell phone ever before, they may can live without cell phone. But by contrast they use it, they know the necessity of the cell phone in our daily life, they'll live unhappily.
I also take my cell phone everywhere.It replaces the watch,if I forget to take it,I will feel uncomfortable.

Why not?Cell phones are widely used by the common people for just a few years.Before that it remains a sophisticated thing for the riches alone.And we carried on our lives without cell phones.Pagers are the start and cell phones rules us now.It has become a necessary evil to all without which life would be difficult.Yet,we can be happy as before without cell phones,I bet.Cheers!

I never feel like keeping cell with you feel comfortable since I have too many friends and every one calls me here and there so I rather prefer not to keep cell phone with me. and I don't keep cell phone since last 2-3 years I give my landling number to others that will make me convinent so that I don't care about other task and without cell I fell free.
