Will you suggest to buy a waterproof digital camera?  

I've thought about it, but I find it less practical though. You see, I'm not fond of going to beaches, nor do I drink when I'm taking photos. I think the extra cost for having that type of a camera is just too much instead of just being extra 'careful'.

Though, I haven't seen one yet here in my area, perhaps it still depends on the picture quality. If it has great picture quality and the cost doesn't have a huge difference with the other digital cameras, then perhaps I'd consider it.

Anyhow, I'm not really interested in purchasing one because I'm happy with my current Sony Cybershot.

If your that adventurous and loves to travel a lot specially involving water sports, yup i suggest buying one. I have the old Olympus waterproof camera the one with the 7.1 megapixel, and it works just great. You don't have to worry about dropping it accidentally specially when your in a rush, and you don't have to worry about it getting soaked over water. You will enjoy taking pictures of you, your friends and your family underwater. lol Just make sure to close all its lid. I had it be shipped back to the manufacturer because I wasn't able to tightly close the lid of it memory card. oh! and if your a camwhore, you might need an extra battery. well have fun! and merry lotting!
