I'm having trouble with my new computer monitor.  

I would go into your control panel and select the add new hardware and see if your computer detects it. Then you can choose to install it right from there and it shoudl work.

Can I ask you, where do you have your speakers connected? Is the wire directly plugged into the back of the monitor? There might be an audio port on the back of the monitor. However, I bought a new computer and I inserted my speaker wire into the back of the monitor and I didn't receive any sound. I took out the speaker wire and decided to insert it directly into one of the sound ports at the rear of the computer instead. If you haven't done this then I suggest you do this. This worked for me and it may work for you if your situation is exactly the same as my own. Good luck and I hope that you sort this out. Andrew

It sounds as if you have a dll missing. I would contact geeks.com to see if they have an installation disk or buy an installation Cd. Is it Windows Xp or Windows Vista? That is what happened to a friend of a friend of mine. The man who installed her computer kept the installation disk, and the ones my husband and I had did not work, so she had to track down this guy who came over and installed it.
