A couple of weeks ago, I began to Blog my life as a Professional Beekeeper. It begins with my first bee-yard visit this spring, when I unwrapped my bees, from their winter packing, to get them ready to go out in the fields to gather Honey. I will continue to Blog, taking my followers through the honey season, and detail the operation from early spring to late October, when the bees are Packed and ready for the winter. Have you been curious about the process involved in making Honey? There are a Growing number of people looking for alternative life styles, who will be interested in following my Blog. You can read it at http://campbellshoney.onsugar.com

I finally got time to read your Blog, it is very informative and well put together. Congratulations I know it took a lot of work. I hope that things are working out for you with the bees. It has not been warm enough for many to be out and about in S. Oregon. I have a pond and fruit trees so I watch to see how many honey bees we will get. It has been a concern around here as it is all over as to the health of the honey bees. We have already seen the complete loss of one of our wild bumble bee species. Blessing to you.

I'm happy that you are enjoying the Blog. I'm having fun with it too. There will be more adventures in the blog as we harvest the honey. Stay with us as we bring it in and spin it out. Perhaps you will even meet some of our honey cuatomers as they come to get their years supply of Campbell's Honey.

Thanks for your comment! I've been keeping bees for more than 30 years. I love the work, and find the bees "very Spiritual Creatures!"
