This photo shows the Yellow Pear Tomato plant I bought and planted today. Is there any special care etc this needs? Does it need the same care as regular tomato plants? Anything I need to know about this plant? Please help. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

they stay yellow and to me have a sweet and tangy flavor. They are great straite out of the garden or cooked or in a salad.

I have never heard of those kind of tomatoes, you make sure you take a picture of the first one that come on the bush I should would like to see it. And next year I will be looking for that kind of tomato plant. The one and only one that I planted this year isn't doing to good. My pepper plants are coming along good. I don't know what is wrong with my tomato plant.

It should not need any different care than any other tomato plant. If you decide to can any of these or make salsa with them you may have to add lemon juice or vinegar to kill bacteria, because yellow, and pink tomatoes have lower acid than the bright red ones.

I have never planted a Yellow Pear Tomato plant before. I don't think I have ever seen Yellow Pear Tomatoes before either. I hope they work out well for you. Is the one in the picture the only one of that kind you bought?

I personally have never grown or eaten a yellow pear tomato so sorry Grandpa Bob but I can't help you on this one! I'd assume that they would be cared for the same way as regular tomato plants, but I could be wrong! Keep us posted please and let us know how they turn out!
