books is one of the things which is really important for us. we can acquire knowledge through books. there are lots of information we gather from it. books is one basis were can explain things why it happens to us. different experience, question, and etc. so books therefore very significant to our daily lives.
i have my classmate, she notice at me when i open the book i read the last page before the first page. i directly go to the content of the books to look our assignment. my classmate is the type of a person also who's reading books at the beginning. she don't like to read without the introduction.because for her it can give info about the book and the author. so she ask me why i don't read an introduction?
if i read books, i myself i don't want to read in the introduction of the books. why?i want to read in the last page of the book before i read the first page of it, its not exciting anyway but it is the way i read books. its not interesting in my eyes.but I'm done wrong.introduction is very important as what my classmate told me. now i recently read books already with the introduction.
how about you?have you read books without reading an introduction?

Nope.
It is what it is and you if you think that your book needs it. Go ahead.
But you don't need to defend your book before people have read it. Unless its some history thing and its needed for the understanding of the text.

Yes. It would be good if you put an introduction to the book. The people who read it can get a summarized view of what you are going to explain. They can also get a preview of the language you are using. They will be more comfortable.

I often read the introduction of a book as like you mentioned there is often information on the author and topic of the book. I find its inceredibly useful during research to read the introduction as it can give you an idea as to where the book is headed, any background knowledge that is useful to you whilst reading the book and I find it helps me to get into the right frame of mind for the topic I am about to read. I do sometimes skip over the introduction but that is normally when I have several books out on the same topic and I know a lot about that topic already. It is normally when I'm just wanting to read a specific chapter in that book that I skip the introduction.
