| wireless router | | | | Hey guys.....I need your expert opinion regarding how to tell whose connected to your wireless router at home or in the office. We have one in the office and the brand is D-LINK 524 model. Recently the output signal had become low so it attracted my attention about it but not to the point of going crazy about it. So the bottom line is do i have to check my router configuration or how do I go about it? We don't assigned a password since it is also shared by other personnel in the office. Any kind of suggestion or idea would suffice my question....have a nice day ahead! | | | | | | | | | | Mutual Fund Invest In Money Market Mutual Funds. | | You need to: 1) Change the admin password 2) Limit the number of connections to the number of people in your office 3) Use WPA in preference to WEP (though a WEP connection can also be secured) 4) Set up a passphrase. Once this is set up, you will need to enter this once only on each machine that uses the connection. | | Well thanks for that suggestions. I will certainly follow those steps that you've given. In the first place, we never set a passphrase or password for our router but nevertheless we will try to set up a password for it. Happy days ahead sir! | | | | | | | Mutual Fund Invest In Money Market Mutual Funds. See Exclusive Online Offers Today. firstcountybank.com | add comment | | | |
