Okay - so I'm having a knee problem...its killing me, I can't walk on it, nothing. I'm waiting for my doctor's appointment on June the 9th to find out the results of my MRI and how we're going to fix it. In the meantime - the pain pills that the doctors have given me don't do ANYTHING!! So one friend of mine gave me a handful of percocets to take and another gave me a few vicodins to help me out for now. They help better... doesn't make it perfect - but a little more tolerable. Do you think its wrong that I take these pills that aren't prescribed for me? I know all about them, the side affects, how and when to take them, etc. Have YOU ever takenpills that weren't prescribed to you?

I have done it before. But not from someone I couldn't trust. One time I got sick and the prescription was expensive but my sister had a bottle of the same kind of antibiotics and she had never used them last time she got sick. So she gave them to me. THey helped and saved me money. Just be careful though. You never really know what someone is giving you.

I'm glad that you were able to get help from your sister with that problem. And yes... never take them from anyone you don't trust. But if you're ever NOT SURE of what something is... you can always go online and they have websites where you describe the pill and it gives you a list of pictures and names... and then if you find the one you're looking for, you can look up th regular info of what its for and warnings, side effects, how to properly take them, etc. Thanks for the response!
