Do You Write Your Life Experiences On A Diary or Journal???

When I was in high school I consider myself as a diligent writer. I write about everything on my diary...ideas, thoughts, love, sadness, happiness, etc. It helped me to feel better, because I felt that burden on my shoulders or the pain in my heart had been slightly removed. But I don't have time to write on my diary nowadays due to the workload and other business. I miss the good old time when I can write everything that happened in my life on a diary. What about you, do you write your life experinces on a diary or journal??

I've done this on and off for 40 years and I'm not sure why. I will write in a journal day after day faithfully then will stop and not write in it for months. When I write in my journal I write like I'm talking to a best friend and I too feel better after I've done it - just need to 'unload' on someone.

Since high school, I have been writing a diary about everything happening in my life until now. The only difference from before and now is that now I just record things which are really important, something unusual, and others whereas before, I do write every detail.

I used to write in diaries & journals all the time - especially in middle school and in high school; kind of like you. I would try to write artistically & reflect on my experiences through explaining my emotions rather than just the situations. I thought I was a pretty good writer, and I really wish I could have held onto it for longer. I haven't written in a diary for YEARS!
