I think eating real food for all the vitamins is better : vegetables for example , contain much more than vitamins and minerals . Vegetables contain anti oxidants and chemicals that our body can use for many other puproses.
Fruit , vegetables , cereals , pulses , herbs ,nuts , those are all part of a good and balanced diet.Those contain the right balance of chemicals so our body can absorb them better. Sometimes , we better do if we combine foods or add some other thing to them or proccess them like grated tomato with some olive oil (the licopen becomes more available to our body).
We better eat them clean and not sprayed with sprays against worms and all.
Have nice a mylotting. Although this discussion is 3 years old , it is still relevant because many people waste money on vitamins and minerals pills because of eating not the right way.

I don't take vitamin pills personally, I just get my vitamins from what I eat. Of course, that's not entirely natural as all the vitamins in cereal are pretty much added. But still.
Milk isn't really natural by the way. Unless you're drinking human milk and you're an infant. Pretty unnatural to drink milk from another species meant for their young.

Yes , I agree that getting your vitamins through the diet is the best way, if you are eating natural or organic foods. Eating processed foods is not good. So much of our food no longer has the nutrition it once did. So, I do take supplements to make sure that my body has all of the vitamins that it needs.

Of course the best way to get all of the nutrients we need is through our diet. That way they are best absorbed by our body.
however, if you arent getting enough of something in your diet, supplements can be very helpful! Many of the vitamins are water soluble - which means they are excreted if we consume too much. There is no harm done! I would much rather make sure I have everything my body needs than not take vitamins because natural sources are better. There are many health problems that can be easily avoided with vitamin supplements!
