Sickness comes from God and some children and adults are effected by diabetic.
Their life totally depends on a dose of insulin prescribed by the doctors.
Unfortunately the prices of insulin is getting increased non-stop by 50% or 200%
every 2 weeks. The prices are in 3 digits and Rs.500 and above. From where will
a young girl or boy get so much of more if they have to buy themselves. Add to
that due to the heat they get spoilt and fresh ones have to be purchased. At least Rs.3000 - 4000 a month my daughter has to keep aside for her insulin. One day the Insulin she had with her at work spoiled and she was in a bad condition and no money,
she went to a clinic and asked them whether they could give her dose of insulin, they refused and asked her to buy her own insulin. This is the situation of human value. What good this doctors who earns so much of money and have clinics of their own but cannot help a young girl with a dose of insulin. I wish, I could have a counter and help people who requires insulin in emergency. Looking at my daughter I
know how weak they become in a second. May God bless who is suffering from this sickness including my daughter. I dont cry in front of her but I know how sad I feel when I cant help her. Please if you have any diabetic person around you try to
help when they need.

My husband's oldest granddaughter...who is now mine as well...has been diabetic for about five years now. She takes insulin and has had a lot of problems during this past year with her sugar and ketones so everyone in the family worries about her a lot. She is a wonderful girl...she recently turned 18 and will graduate from high school this month...yet her future is clouded by her disease. It breaks my heart as well to see her deal with this disease day after day. We do what we can. We all learned everything we could about diabetes when she was originally diagnosed, including how to recognize that she was in trouble and what to do. My husband and I are both advocates for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and we do what we can to raise money for research. And we pray for Katie and everyone like her. We pray for a cure and we pray that she stays well. And, like you, we don't let her see our tears. God bless your daughter, kumbarn. Perhaps one day we can both celebrate a cure.

Thank you for your response. In fact my daughter got diabetic when she was
9 years old and now she is 27 years. Studying ACCA and also working. Sometimes I
feel so sad to watch her injecting, herself, the insulin and continues with her life.
I am a great fighter for her, during her school holidays she would attend music
classes (piano)she achieved 97 in her London Trinity College of Music. She has been trained to play tennis, horse riding but the pain to see her weak due to this illness, just makes me a weak person. We cannot say anthing about God's decision, the only thing is to pray to God is to help her to have a happy and a healthy life, which every mother would love their kid to have. God says that there is a medicine for all sickness other than old age, lets pray that day will soon come that someone finds a positive cure to diabetic with the help of Almighty.
Let me pray your good thoughts to celebrate should come soon. Amen.
