What words & phrases do you think are over-used these days?

Sometimes, when a word or phrase catches on, it seems to be all you here. After a length of time, those get soooo tiresome to me. For instance: Think outside the box has been way over-used, in my opinion. What words or phrases do you think are used too often and have become annoying to you?

The phrase "at the end of the day" - I'm starting to get tired of hearing it. Also, the word "like" - some people seem to be using it more than once or twice in a sentence and it can be very annoying. :)

Yes, at the end of the day. That is similar to "the bottom line is" which I hear so much. Thank you for commenting.

I'm tired of hearing "that was surreal", the word awesome, another I hear alot is "that is so gay". There are many more but I can't think of anymore at this time.

You're right...each of those has been so used up as to become what I call,"eye-rollers." Thank you for contributing!
