What is your favorite zoo animal?

My husband and I just went to the zoo today! I too enjoy the polar bears, but I also like the sea lions. They are just SOOOOO big! It's amazing when they swim by the window to realize how graceful they are even though they are so massive.

When I was a kid, there was this lady elephant. Her name was Fresia and it was the delight of all the children who saw her. She died a few years ago. She appeared in the papers and the news her having been an important part of many a child in my town. I have a soft spot for elephants since then although I tend to think Fresia was unique.

hi there, well my favourite at the zoo would be the rare White bengal tigers. I believe they are only found in the Singapore zoological gardens. It really looks majectic and royal. they have a few of them there. They seem really healthy and are always moving around and playing in the waters. They look so white and simply beautiful.I manage to get a few pictures of it with my camera. But due to the activeness of the tiger i couldnt get a stable shot at it.. But to me its one of the most beautiful thing i have ever seen.

My favorite is giraffes. They are astonishing animals. They can run up to 35 mph and eat like 100 lbs a day. When the mother gives birth, the baby falls about 6 ft to the ground and somehow miraculously survives.

My favorite animals in the zoo are the monkeys. I love to watch them play, transfer from one branch of tree to another, sitting as if they are also human. I like the way they relate to the people watching them. Sometimes they smile, they nod and also tease the people looking them. I enjoy it.

I love to go to the zoo in the Spring and see all the baby animals. I just love baby animals. My favorite is the kangaroo. One time when visiting the zoo, I was able to watch a baby kangaroo come out of it's mother's pouch. It was the most amazing site I think I have seen. Here was a little animal all folded up perfectly in it's mother's pouch and as it emerged it became far larger than I could have imagined.

I like all the animals, but my favourites are the penguins. I just think that they are so cute and I always enjoy watching them. There is only one zoo on the island where I live, but it is a pretty big place and a couple of years ago they made it even bigger and added a lot of new animals. In the past they didn't have any penguins and when I was a child my favourite animals were the giraffes and the elephants. My grandmother used to take me to the zoo, and at first I was only interested in the playground but when I got a bit older I started to get interested in the animals.

My favorite has always been the big cats. Tigers, lions, cougars, etc. They are just so majestic and beautiful. I've always been fascinated by them. I like the penguins too. They're just so cute!

I like a few other zoo animals as well, but the big cats are still my all time favorites!
