Did anyone catch the Season premiere of Primeval?

I tried to record it on the DVR on Saturday when it premiered but my DVR was for some reason incorrectly programmed and didn't record. I was angry for a little while but then realized it was just a TV program and life wasn't going to end. More over, I can catch it next week when they rebroadcast the previous episode before premiering the new one. So did you catch it? Was it awesome? Or a disappointment?
