How come that id10t's rich and I am not? |
|
I was reading the book of the same title and found it pretty interesting. So far, I only got past the first chapter, and already, there is lots of food for thought.
The one thing that struck me most, was the question he asked at the beginning of the chapter. And it is interesting how the response to those questions can make out what kind of a person you are.
Remember those questions were asked when I was still a student. And it was funny at that time. 1) How do you put a giraffe in the fridge? 2) How do you put an elephant in the fridge? 3) If the Lion King were to call for an animal conference where it is compulsory for all animals to attend, who would be absent? 4) If you come across a crocodile infested river and you need to cross it. You do not have a boat, how would you cross the river?
It would be interesting to see the responses to these questions before I further share my thoughts on this chapter.

1. kun2349 (7200) | 7 months ago | lol=D I shall give it a try, and i did rememeber seeing some of the questions before, but i forgot about the answers.. haha=D
1.) I will cut a hole in between the fridge to fit the giraffe in.. haha=D 2.) I will not attempt to squeeze an elephant in because it's just too big..=D 3.) I guess simba will be missing, because it's his own child.. lol=D 4.) I will be riding on the crocodile to cross the river instead..
haha=D Some questions are asked to see how well one react to different scenarios in life, and that does help.. Because it's thru thinking out of the box, that makes one sucessful, instead of always thinking in a straight line.. lol=D Right??

ahgong (3741) | 6 months ago | Yeah... I believe that too. Look at Forest Gump! He is a millionaire, and he doesn't care. What he cares about is the time he get to spend with his love ones. And keeping his words when he make promises!
I love that show! And it is a classic example of how an idiot can be rich. His priorities are different. Exactly like what the book is saying!

1)Open the Fridge insert the Giraffe and close fridge.
2)Open fridge, take giraffe out,put elephant in and close the fridge.
3)Elephant is in the fridge so he won't come for the conference.
4)I will swim across the river as all the crocodiles have gone to the conference.
