London - greatest city on earth?  | |  I miss London, I lived there 6 years. I've lived in Toronto, been to New York several times, I live in Amsterdam now, I've been to Bangkok, LA, Rome, etc. But what is it about London that makes it number 1? Is it only my rosy memories?

I have visited other capital cities, and I have lived in other towns and cities, but I still think London is great.
I think it is a combination of its long history, the mix of culture and the people.

Part of me wishes I could just go and live there. It's really a beautiful city. I don't know what it is, but it was just great to be there. I have good memories of London.
