While typing on computers or typewriter the key board is absolutely same and it is the speed that matters. Many can overcome great jobs at the press of a button and accomplish error free scripts efortlessly, thats amazing and a blissfull earning too What else one can dream of a good computer internet connection and excellent typing speed! Whats yours?

In my own judgement I cant type average , I'm not
so fast in typing because lately I'm not expert in typing also.
I go with the talks that you are expert in typewriter you are
also same in computer keyboard. Because its nearly the same
uses. I studied to type fast but not yet successful for me.
Think I need more constant practice for this to make me fast.

I only have an average typing speed. Of course it would still depend on my posture, position, and what Im typing about. I think people type fast whenever they're typing their own thoughts but when they have things to encode or copying from a document or paper or something, unless they are quite confident with their speed and accuracy that they wont have to look at the keyboard then they would be fast.
Overall, I think Im just about average.^_^

That's a good question. One of the reasons I joined Mylot was to help me with my typing, and it has! I'm a 61yr. old male and even though I had typing in high school as an elective, I had lost my touch. I'm doing a lot better now and am satisfied with my skills. Even though I read a lot my spelling seems to be the problem! Thank god for spell check. As far as wpm I really can't say but it's become a lot faster thanks to Mylot! Have a good one.

My typing speed is between 40 and 50 words per minute. I hope to improve further.
