My husband is changing jobs, which means we are changing health insurance companies. I was very stressed that this change would mean that I would lose coverage for my children's much needed OT and ST, Speech and Occupational Therapy. I just got the infomration from them and they will cover it for us.. Yea.. What a relief this is. My children have SPD, Sensory Processing Disorder, which is related to autisim, in the family so to speak, So we need this therapy.
Plus we have met our Our of pocket max already this year, they are letting us carry that over so that we will not have to pay it again, well the new employer is paying it for us. So anything we have done now, my upcoming surgery in the fall etc will not cost us anything, not even co-pays.
I was worried for nothing.

Sometimes it is best not to worry till you get all the information. You cant change it anyway. But I am really glad it is going to work for you. I have been on the same insurance for 8 years now and I always worry about getting a new job and changing just b/c my daughter is diabetic and that stuff is expensive and some have clauses and such. I guess that is just why I stay at my job I don't want to worry about it.
