Well I think with the growth of technology there will be no computers and everyone will use a notebook or at least netbook. There prices has almost gone closer to the basic computer and we also get more features in a notebook. Now it has started to shrink in its size to slimmer LCD Monitors and even ultra slim cabinet. So in the future I think that there will be no computers and only notebooks will be there? What do you think about it?

Gone the days when computers were as large as a room in which use to sleep! Now, one can easily have laptops and notepads but I still believe that for home use, one can only opt for Desktops. These are more secure and rigid than notebooks or laptops.

Thanks for your response You have mentioned a good point that desktops are rigid and secure.

I remember the first computer we had. The speed and memory was not even worth it compared to today's computers! There are memory cards for cameras that have more memory than that computer did! And it was big! In the last 15 years, the size of desktop computers has shrunk drastically. You wouldnt even be able to sell something that size today! I dont think desktops will ever disappear completely. But in the future they may be the size of a small book instead of what they are now!

This is an interesting question. I hadn't thought about it before. I agree with you, it seems like these days computers are getting smaller & smaller, and TVs are getting bigger & bigger. Maybe desktop computers will start getting wider & more flat - and laptops will continue to get less & less bulky (as they have been continuing to do). But it's really up in the air.

Well thanks for your response Yes it is tough to answer yes or no. Because they are making computers smaller and more functional these days just like laptops.
