if i have to go out anywhere fancy,i normally put on regular shoes anyway.
gladiator shoes can be too restraining depending on what you're doing,in my experience anyway.

I guess obviously that's a much older style than the 80s, but I'm sure there was a reason it went away after awhile. Like people invented some better shoes!
