Are there lots of virus on facebook?

I have heard of that before and everytime I open facebook, my computer runs really slow, I wonder if it just because of all the applicationthing or it really has virus doing that for me. Do you know anything about it?

what i noticed is the IQ test page is filled with trojans. You shouldn't go on there, it can ruin your comp.

I never encounter any viruses on facebook. I'm sure that social network have a good protection for any incoming virus or malware.

I think it's because of the memory need of most of the programs in facebook. If your computer isn't as updated as everyone else's you'll surely have problems when you use the applications in facebook like games etc. I don't think it's virus though. You're not actually downloading programs there, it's all online, and when it's online it usually takes a lot of toll on your memory and video cards. Good luck! But for safety, do update your anti-virus.
