Mother's Day Present - I Love Mom Apron - How Cute!!!  

Schulzie I know what you mean. I have little things like that saved up in a container too. I don't put them out because my husband likes to move things around and redecorate. Sometimes he doesn't understand how much they mean to me so I put them away. I hope one day to go over all those little things to remind me of how small they were. I was looking at pictures of our kids when I was organizing the Mother's Day albums for our mothers and it almost made me cry too. I remember taking each picture, their first day of school, them walking, their birthdays, etc. Time goes by too fast when it's concerning our own children.

I have many things my boys made me--cups, bowls, jewelry, those precious handprints! I have a necklace I wear that says "I (heart) Mom" that they gave me for Christmas one year from the secret Santa shop, they went halves on it. It's one of my most precious possessions, second only to their little handprints.

No not this year but themn my kids are all grown and have thier own familys but that will be a keeper for sure!

Nope, I did not get anything cute for Mother's Day, this year. I do know what you mean about saving things. I actually framed a third grade art project my son did. His sister did one very similar, but on smaller paper, framed those also. Nice grouping.

That would be the best gift she could have given me. There the sweetest at making gifts for us parents. I got my mother a shirt made with all he grand kids on it.

My sons worked together to give me this very special gift for Mother's Day. It's their rendition of 'Bill and Ted' from "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". They bought me a beautiful frame to put it in. The frame has leaves etched into it (I love nature) with the word "Family" imprinted. It's the best gift I've ever received, well, one of them.

I have a cedar chest full of things they made for me all through the years. I'm probably as sentimental as you. It never dwindles, either. My sons are now 25 and soon-to-be 28 and I still cherish the gifts they give me, especially when they are "custom made", like this photo.
