If that happened to me i would call someone to bring me some cash. So i could pay for my bill. If i could not get a hold of anyone i would explain it to the management and hope that they would trust me enough to go home and get my wallet. If it is a place where they know you, they should give you the opportunity to go get it. If they don't give you the opportunity to go get it, I guess that i would sit their till someone brought me some money.

Hi dlr,
Yeah .. it is easier if we know the owner or cashier. They will allowed us to paid it later. But if we are in a new area or didn't know them, it is much harder. Try to explain everything to them and most probably they wouldn't believe it. They might think that we try to skip the bills.

Hi akuler,
I am sorry to hear that. You may feel very embarrassing about that. But you have no choice but to expain your plight with the manger. With your nice explaination, thing will be ok. By the way, i just found the discussion was raised by you 3 months ago. It is obvious that you had solved your problem.
Happy mylotting!

option 1: ask them to wait for you so that you can go home and take your wallet
option 2: call your friend to help you pay the bills first
option 3: see the boss to ask for exception (depends on where you are having your
meal)

Hi akuler, I don't think there would be any problem at all here. I generally stick to the same places both locally or in town where they know me, and they'd just say not to worry, to pay next time. It's never happened to me when I've been out like that but one day I did forget to put my wallet in my bag when I was in the local supermarket, but again it was just bring it down tomorrow. It is a very trusting community here.

Hi thea,
It is not a problem if we knew the owner or the cashier. But it is really shameful experience and when no one to call, it is disastrous. To tell the cashier that you forget you wallet is a nightmare. If we are at the supermarket, it is different because we can return back the things. But in restaurant and you already ate the food, wow
.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.
