What makes you happiest in your life?

What one aspect of your life do you enjoy the most? Which thing would affect you the most if it was erased from you life tomorrow? First thing that comes into your mind. What would it be?

CE- I've spent this last year trying to really focus on living in the present moment, and stop living off past memories that no longer matter. It is not to say that there were not happy times in my life, I've had a great many, it is that I want to focus on living the fullest in each moment so I cannot as of today say there is something I would be upset if it were wiped from my mind. I have a pretty extensive memory though, needless to say, so sometimes I find it difficult to always be present. A recent memory would be two days ago when my son, my husband, his sister, and I played with a catapillar outside that had crawled onto his yoga mat. We spoke about what they eat, how they move, etc. It was a great way to end our martial arts class. Though, even if that memory disappeared, I wouldn't mind because to be honest, every day we have these experiences so every day is a blessing. Namaste-Anora

How nice for you! I think I could definitely take a lesson from you too. I need to live in the present. I do tend to take things to heart from my past and dwell way too much. The serenity prayer would be a good one to insert here, huh? Thanks.

CE- I love the serenity prayer! One of the things I've worked on over the last year which I've found helpful is that when my mind is drawn to a particularly bad moment from my past I let the thought come but then I simply push out saying "That is the past, it does not make me". I know it sounds a little cliche, but it really has helped me to let go. Though, as I said, I too struggle with the pain of the past at various times. Talking to good friends helps too! Namaste-Anora

Ya, a living being has much more to give than an object. I agree.

Absolutely music! I do something music-related all the time. Now I'm listening to music, when I don't listen to music I play bass or sleep/eat. In fact I sometimes even listen to music when sleeping

I love music too. I sometimes turn on the cable music options and listen to music when having trouble getting to sleep. Love all kinds. Even classical and country. Listening to some now as well.

When I succeed in my wants and ambition in life. That is the happeiest moment in my life that I got what I desired to do. Thanks for the Almighty that He gave me the blessing for it. And its normal that we omly human beings , needs and wishes will be there. More aims to do so with the Devine grace still ask for Him.

I would be happy to reach the payout. Really, that is how little it would take to make me happy. I am also happy that I can do discussions and maybe arrive at the point when I would have the payout. Who knows? Will it make me happier? Definitely. Cheers!!!

my bestfriend? i don't know if i could call her my bestfriend, but without her, my life would be nothing and worthless. she fulfill every satisfaction i want to have and she can be my disciplinarian, which she could help me to be a more better person and a good samaritan. :) i do love her. i enjoy every single day of my life if i could communicate with her. i'm so grateful to meet her. My best friend, I wouldn't have made it through the last year without him, and if I lost him tomorrow I don't think I would recver.

I hear ya. I have a friend like that too. She lives in Texas and I live in Idaho so we don't get to see eachother very often. We do talk on the phone alot. Then I also have my ex who has become a good friend. He has been a very good friend and helped me with several situations. I don't know what I would do without him either.
