What is the coolest thing you've done for free?

The DJ at my local radio station was asking this question this week. I would have loved to phone in but I was driving at the time. People called in saying they won free trips and stuff. The other DJ said the coolest thing she did for free was introduce two country singers on stage in front of an audience.
If I was able to call in I would have said that when I was 19 my friend and I went to Los Angeles. We went on a tour of Universal Studios. I volunteered to help demonstrate how they make Superman "fly" in the movies. They put a cape on me and in front of an audience I went on stage and was strapped stomach down to a bench of sorts. They turned on a huge fan. There was a big screen on the wall above me and I could see myself flying through the sky and then King Kong's fist come down on my head. I was a very shy girl and that was almost 30 years ago. I remember saying to myself, "I will never see any of these people again so go for it." I will never forget it.
So what's the coolest thing you did for free?
