I've been eating a lot of fresh fruits and veggies lately, and have been incredibly bloated. I know they're healthier for me than most other foods, but I really don't like the feeling of being bloated all the time. How can I keep a lot of fresh produce in my diet and stop this bloated feeling?

If you haven't been eating a lot of fresh fruits and veggies for very long, your body might still be in the process of adjusting to your changed diet. Produce is healthy for you, but any time you change what you're eating your digestive system can take some time to be able to process that food well. If the bloated feelings don't subside, though, you might want to try to figure out if it's a specific fruit or vegetable that's causing it. Some people find that broccoli or cucumbers make them feel really bloated and gassy. If it's just the produce in general, you could try taking a gas reliever like Beano. I've never had to use it, personally, but I know quite a few people who it's worked pretty well for.
