I'm sure you're saying to yourself "Why is she posting a hazards of smoking in the dumb crooks discussion?" After you read this, you'll know why. I received this from our local news station and got a kick out of it, and had to pass it on to everyone on the lot. I will add that I live in California, which explains a LOT! This happened in the small town that I live near. I hope you get as big a kick out of it as I did. A malfunctioning cash register at a Paso Robles gas station prevented armed robbers from getting away with cash. So they grabbed $71 worth of cigars. The Chevron gas station on the 1300 block of 24th Street was allegedly robbed by an individual with a gun, Paso Robles police responded to the call at about 11:05 p.m. Monday. A witness provided police with a description of the vehicle, a white Ford Taurus, with the license plate number. The vehicle was determined to be stolen from the Sparks, Nevada area. With assistance from the California Highway Patrol, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department, and the Atascadero Police Department, the vehicle was spotted driving south on Highway 101 near Atascadero just thirty minutes later. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the car and was able to attain a positive identification from the witness. A 15-year-old male and 16-year-old female, both residents of Sparks, Nevada, were arrested based upon the positive identification on charges related to the robbery and stolen vehicle. Uhh, not exactally the brightest bulbs in the box!!! If the cash register doesn't work, run you idiots, don't grab a bunch of cigars...it pisses the owners off!!!
