susan boyle as a sore second placer?

Susan Boyle performed very well but she somewhat became boring already because her winning piece "I dream the dream" is all over the You Tube and has bee and could be viewed over and over again/ If I were her, I would have had sung a different song in the finals. A new and more dynamic music that will stun the audiences perhaps and not the overexposed "I Dream the Dream". She made the mistake of singing this song in the finale so although her performance was superb, it did not really win points for her. The people have gone so used to it.

Now the dancing group made an excellent dancing but I am no fan of street dancing and no matter how good they did, I still prefer singing over dancing. And besides I think there is a mismatch. Dancing group over a solo singer? I find it not a good match. I hope "Britains' got talent" could segregate the contestants. Dancing competition in one and then singing competition on the other, etc. etc. All singers will compete with each other. All dancers will compete with each other, etc. etc. It is very hard to judge who is the best between a dancing group and a singer.

Well anyway, Susan Boyle's talent is seemed limited to one song only. Her other song "Memory" during the semis did not register well. I hope I am wrong. And I hope she proved me wrong during the finals.

I became known about Susan Boyle when they talked about her on the local news. I was rooting for her like everyone else. I saw the Finale on YouTube, she sounded pretty gracious when she came in 2nd place. I think maybe the media attention and fame became overwhelming to her. But I'm sure she will still be a Success.

i think that susan boyle was incredible, but still you really should deal with loosing, even tho many people might disagree with me, i feel that a contest like britian`s got talent, it will usually be the youngsters that win.

I did hear that despite not winning, she has got a recording contract lined up already. So she's not doing to badly out of it all.

If Susan Boyle was annoyed about losing, she had every right to be, as she was far and away the best performer, with a great personality. The dance group will be a 5 minute wonder, but she can look forward to a great career on stage, so in the long run, she will be the real winner.

I think she was probably exhausted by the constant media circus surrounding her since her first appearance. No other contestant seems to have been subjected to this pressure, and she is not really equipped to cope with it. Or perhaps she had started to believe her own publicity and thought her first place was a mere formality?

You can never be sure with telephone voting. The dancers were younger and good looking, and most of the telephone votes probably come from younger people. The voting public do not necessarily vote for the most accomplished performer. If they did, John Sargeant and Colleen Nolan would have been voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'Dancing on Ice' in the first week!

I'm not sure where you got the info from but I saw the end of the finale and her words were "the best act won" Congratulation! This is what she said so I don't think that was acting like a sore loser. She ended up in come clinic due to exhaustion. She will either once feeling better decide to disappear from the limelight or make an album. I hope she makes an album.
