How often do you change your haristyle?

I want to change my hairstyle. In fact i'm having long hair now. And i want to cut it to a bob. However, my mum advices against it. She says it'll give me a small head but big body. She says to lose more weight before attempting to cut a bob. What about you guys? Do you guys take all these into consideration before cutting your hair or just let loose.

It depends on how you cut the bob really. Sometimes long hair actually adds weight to you. I convinced one of my friends to donate her long hair recently and now she has a shoulder length style with pieces framing her face. She has a very round face, but it looks so much slimmer with this style. I like to change my hairstyle a lot. And then for awhile I'll let it grow out when I have no time to cut it. Then I'll donate my hair, and the cycle of hairstyles happens again. I cut off 13 inches a few months back. Had a bob for about 2 months. Now I cut it to more of an inverted bob. And when it gets hotter I might go pixie. The good thing is, I cut my own hair so all of this changing doesn't cost me anything at least. I have to cut my hair about once a month whether I change the style or not since my hair grows fairly quickly.

13 inch? oh god, i think i'd be wailing and crying my eyeballs out. And it's good to hear that you're doing charity whilst having a hair cut. We don't have this here. Only on occasional events.

LOL, I guess I don't really like long hair enough to be that bothered by it. I'm more relieved once I've got short hair again! We don't have anything like this locally either, I had to ship my hair to the other side of the country. But I've heard that there are events occasionally where you can get a free haircut. I just don't know where to find those. In any case, I still got a free haircut since I didn't charge myself anything for it. :)

yup. but ultimately having long hair doesn't really allow much room for variations. apart from the fact that i get to tie them up in different styles.

Hello. I change my hairstyle not that often, only when I feel like changing it because I have difficulty maintaining it because of my classes, I still need to tie my hair. Maybe when I graduate, I would be able to change my hairstyle more often.
