Still believe that your one vote can change all?

no i think the powerful and corrupt leaders of our society can change the votes using their money!! the are gross.. the will do anything just to stay on their position!!

Yes!! I think we can change through voting. Voting right is the greatest right that we have being a citizen of a country. I am always in favor of changes and all changes should be warmly welcomed. One must not loose hope...I can give you one instance.In India,the communist party ruled the eastern part for about 35 years but they lose their seat in the last Loksabha Election which took place in April due to their terrible unpopularity after the Mass killing regarding setting up of a private industry.So,now it is clear that how much power we people have due to this right.

I agree with you. Every Filipino voters should think that their vote could make a change in this degrading nation. We should really take good care of our votes and hopefully choose the right leaders who could guide our country in a righteous manner.

I really do hope that we would unite and strongly campaign for an honest election in the coming 2010 presidential election.

Well for as long as we are given the privilege to choose then I will have to used that to air my choice to the country. For as long as that option is still available then I think that hope is still alive and kicking. For those that loses hope they will eventually lose it and would go nowhere in life. For me voting is our chance to give our choice a chance to be heard. If your choice did not win then just pray and hope that the winner would do its job. But I guess our individual votes would help shape this country rather than just be a citizen who would not participate in shaping the country. You would not contribute at all and eventually would fall into nothing if you do nothing.

If 5 cents can complete a peso, then a single vote can make a difference too. The worse thing that we can do is to become apathetic and indifferent. If we don't care, who else will care about us? Democracy is a participatory process after all. In order to work, everyone must participate. The thing I've noticed though is that the people who complain the loudest are the people who don't even vote in elections. Change doesn't come by sitting on the sidelines. One vote is enough to make a corrupt politician lose.

I think it's idealistic to think that one vote would change all. But in reality, we know that these things won't work. We have corrupt politicians running, and if they would want to win, they would do anything.
